About

It's all about

H I M.

. . . the men of that place recognized him . . .

WHO IS HE?

Jesus of Nazareth. The Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. Son of man, Son of God. The Root and the Offspring of David. The Lion and the Lamb. The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. The Image of the invisible God and the Firstborn of all creation. From him are all things and to him are all things.

The Firstborn among many brothers and the Firstborn from the dead. The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. A Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. He is the Radiance of the glory of God and the exact Imprint of his nature. He upholds the universe by the word of his power.

He is the Revelation of God as we gaze into his face. He dwells in unapproachable light and wraps Himself with light as a garment. He is Manna from heaven, living Water, our daily Bread. The Light of the world and the Way, the Truth, the Life. He is the Head of the body, the church; our Bridegroom King; our Kinsman Redeemer.

He is the First, the Last, the Living One. The One who died and is alive, who holds the keys of Death and Hades. He holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. He is the First and the Last, who died and came to life. He is the Son of God, with eyes like a flame of fire, and feet like burnished bronze. He has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. He is the holy One, the true One, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens. He is the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of God's creation.

He is the great I AM, the mighty One, God the Lord. The pure and shining One. The King of kings and the Lord of lords. The Rider on the white horse. The good Shepherd, the Rose of Sharon, and the Lily of the valley. He is Love.

And so much more . . .

He is my Beloved, and He is mine.
